    • Our team of professionals will replace your roof with high quality GAF architectural shingles. Prior to Installing your solar system.

    We will:

  • Remove the existing roof: This includes the safe and proper removal of all existing shingles, underlayment, and any other materials that need to be removed in order to install the new roof.

  • Repair or replace any damaged decking or framing: If any issues are found during the inspection, they will need to be repaired or replaced before the new roof can be installed.

  • Install new underlayment: A new layer of underlayment will be installed over the entire roof deck to provide a smooth surface for the new shingles to be installed on.

  • Install new flashing: New flashing will be installed around all penetrations and at the eaves and rakes to ensure proper water shedding.

  • Install new shingles: The new shingles will be installed according to manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines, including proper alignment, nailing, and flashing details.

  • Final inspection and cleanup: Once the installation is complete, a final inspection will be conducted to ensure that the roof has been installed correctly and that there are no issues. Any debris will be removed from the site.

    PEPCO will install a new net meter capable of tracking all of your system's production. Power not immediately needed on site will be sent back to the utility grid. Credits will be issued and the utility company will use these credits prior to assessing any new electrical charges.

    8 Excess Solar Income is derived from the sale of excess solar energy that is produced beyond what the site requires. The excess production is sold back at a wholesale rate, and payments are sent at the end of the utility's accounting year.  This additional money can help offset power purchase agreement payments (if applicable) or simply create additional savings.
