Manage Campaigns

The campaign management screens allows you to create a new email campaign. A campaign can be a newsletter, advertisement or coupon.

 

 

 

 

Edit a campaign

When adding a new campaign you can specify a template if you want to base it on an existing campaign.

 

Actions

Once you have created a campaign you can use the two actions.

 

 

Designer

The designer is used to create the html contents of the campaign.  You can click on source and edit the html directly or you can use the WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editor.  

There are certain patterns that can be applied to the email that will be replaced with the Lead/Customer details for example first name.

 

 

Send 

You select the mailing list that you want to use to send this to. If you select test email it prompts you for a single email address that you can send it to. Finish will start the campaign to all of the customers.

 

Next to the mailing list there is a magnifying glass by selecting the icon you will see a preview of the customers that will be pulled for this campaign.

 

Sends the campaign out to the customers.  You can specify either the mailing list to use when deciding whom to send the emails to or you can select the group that you want to use to send the messages to.  

Clicking on send test email will prompt you for an email address that you can enter that will send the email message to.
